Our Story
Shannonvale Fibre Tubes Ltd have been manufacturers of carbon fibre and glass composite tubes since 1999, specialising in the electrical, radio communications, cryogenic and sporting goods industries, amongst others.

Our vastly experienced staff has an unsurpassed knowledge of tube rolling technology, and our ‘hands-on’ philosophy ensures that we work closely with customers to complete exacting projects of any size.

Our MD, John O’Sullivan, studied plastics engineering at Athlone IT and graduated from the Plastics and Rubber Institute (London) in 1980, enabling him to spend many years specialising in product development.
Our Quality
In addition to convolute wound parallel tubes, we are able to offer tapered tubes and, uniquely for our industry, tubes up to 4 metres in length.

We are also specialist manufacturers of small diameter ‘straw tubes’ from 3.18 mm internal diameter.

We offer a complete service from initial design and technical advice to machining and spraying services for finishing our tubes.

Since joining the Langtec group in 2011, our tubes have been sold throughout the World.
